Product introduction
Mammalian cell or tissue extracts contain many endogenous proteases, phosphatases, etc., which easily lead to the degradation or demodification of proteins in the extracts, thus affecting the subsequent protein detection. Therefore, adding appropriate inhibitors such as protease and phosphatase to the extracts is an effective way to prevent protein degradation and demodification. "This product is used as a cocktail of protease inhibitors derived from mammalian cell or tissue proteins, containing a broad spectrum of serine, cysteine, and acid protease inhibitors, as well as aminopeptidase inhibitors." EDTA should not be added if it is used to detect metalloproteinase activity.
Scope of application
"It inhibits various protease activities in mammalian cell or tissue extracts, such as serine proteases, aminopeptidases, cysteine proteases, threonine and aspartic proteases, metalloproteinases, etc." It is suitable for Western Blot and co-immunoprecipitation detection of phosphorylated proteins and protein kinase activity determination.
Usage method
1. The products were added to the lysate at a ratio of 1:100 and can be used after mixing. The lysates containing the protease inhibitor mixture should be prepared on the spot, and should not be prepared and frozen for later use.
2.0.5M EDTA was also added to the lysate at a ratio of 1:100 as needed.
