Product introduction

Lysostapyrase was first identified in cultures of Staphylococcus simulans by Schindler and Schuhard in 1964 (U.S. Patent number, 3,278,378; 1966) with a molecular weight of 27 kDa and 246 amino acids. Its mechanism of action is to cleave the glycine five-skin bond bridge in the peptidoglycan of Staphylococcal cell wall, thereby destroying the integrity of the cell wall and dissolving the bacteria, so as to quickly dissolve and kill the bacteria. Its unique bactericidal mechanism is not easy to induce drug-resistant strains, and it is a peptide chain endonuclease. The native lysostaphin has a molecular weight of 27 kDa and 246 amino acids. White or light yellow powder, a zinc-containing metalloproteinase.

Ba ions, Mn ions, Ca ions, Mg ions and EDTA at the concentration of 1mmol/L showed a certain degree of inhibition of lysostachoxygenase.
